The Tastiest Skillet Ever: Chicken and Mushroom Pan in 15 Minutes

This is sooo delicious and so easy to prepare! Quick, simple, and tasty—can’t get better than this.

Ingredients

  • 150 g mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
  • 1 onion
  • 1 piece of herb butter
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 pack of chicken strips or 150 g turkey breast
  • 1 herb seasoning cube (e.g., “Kräuterling”)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meat:
    • If you don’t have chicken strips, cut the turkey breast into strips (about the size of French fries).
  2. Slice Vegetables:
    • Next, slice the mushrooms and onion into thin strips.
  3. Heat the Pan:
    • Heat a very small amount of butter in a pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sauté Ingredients:
    • Add the mushrooms, onions, and chicken strips to the pan.
    • Sauté until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  5. Add Herb Butter:
    • Add 1 tablespoon of herb butter to the pan.
    • Let it sizzle and melt, coating the ingredients.
  6. Deglaze with Crème Fraîche:
    • Stir in about 2-3 tablespoons of crème fraîche to deglaze the pan.
  7. Season and Finish:
    • Season with salt, pepper, and the herb seasoning cube.
    • Stir well to combine all flavors.
  8. Serve:
