Tender Steak with a Rich Garlic Flavor and Golden-Brown Fries

Tender Steak with a Rich Garlic Flavor and Golden-Brown Fries

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

3 beef steaks (e.g., ribeye or filet)

3 tablespoons olive oil

6 garlic cloves, minced

75 ml beef broth

75 ml cream

Salt and pepper to taste

1.5 teaspoons fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)

For the Fries:

6 large potatoes

5 tablespoons vegetable oil

Salt to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the Fries: Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Peel the potatoes, cut them into sticks, and place them in a bowl. Toss with vegetable oil and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, turning once halfway through, until crispy.

Cook the Steaks: While the fries are in the oven, season the beef steaks with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, sear the steaks in olive oil for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let them rest.

Make the Garlic Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic until golden brown. Deglaze with beef broth and add the cream. Stir well and let it simmer briefly until the sauce thickens slightly. Add fresh rosemary if desired.

Serve: Plate the steaks, pour the aromatic garlic sauce over them, and serve with the crispy fries.
