The Tastiest Skillet Ever: Chicken and Mushroom Pan in 15 Minutes
This is sooo delicious and so easy to prepare! Quick, simple, and tasty—can’t get better than this.
Ingredients
- 150 g mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
- 1 onion
- 1 piece of herb butter
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 pack of chicken strips or 150 g turkey breast
- 1 herb seasoning cube (e.g., “Kräuterling”)
Instructions
- Prepare the Meat:
- If you don’t have chicken strips, cut the turkey breast into strips (about the size of French fries).
- Slice Vegetables:
- Next, slice the mushrooms and onion into thin strips.
- Heat the Pan:
- Heat a very small amount of butter in a pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté Ingredients:
- Add the mushrooms, onions, and chicken strips to the pan.
- Sauté until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
- Add Herb Butter:
- Add 1 tablespoon of herb butter to the pan.
- Let it sizzle and melt, coating the ingredients.
- Deglaze with Crème Fraîche:
- Stir in about 2-3 tablespoons of crème fraîche to deglaze the pan.
- Season and Finish:
- Season with salt, pepper, and the herb seasoning cube.
- Stir well to combine all flavors.
- Serve:
